Morning Glory Fine Craft Fair

Hello Morning Glory Artists:
We’re anxiously awaiting your arrival inMilwaukee for the 42nd annual Morning Glory Fine Craft Fair!
Following is information pertaining to your arrival, set-up and parking to make that arrival smooth.
 Show Hours Saturday & Sunday, August 13 and 14, 10 am to 5 pm both days
 Set-Up We offer early set-up on Friday, August 12th, from noon to 7 pm. You must be off the
grounds by 7 pm so Security can secure the grounds. Saturday set-up begins at 6:30 am.When
you arrive, if your booth is on the Marcus Center grounds (booths 1-98), please go to the
Information Booth near the band shell along the river. If your booth is at Red Arrow Park
(booths 99 and up), there will be a temporary Information Table set up along Water Street on
Friday only. All those arriving on Saturday should check in on the Marcus grounds. If in doubt
about some of these locations, check the maps we emailed to you recently. They are also on-line
 Once you have checked in, there will be traffic coordinators (all volunteers, please be nice to
them) to help direct you. Please unload your vehicle in your assigned area and then move it
before you begin setting up. The traffic coordinators will watch your inventory while you park
your vehicle. This system allows other artists to unload sooner, as there is limited space. We use
the same procedure in reverse for loading out at the end of the show. No early tear-downs!
 Parking The Marcus Center has completed renovation of its parking structure and it is open for
business as usual there. Clearance is 7’ on the lower level and 6’7” on upper levels. At check-in
you will receive a coupon for $5 off parking, good only at the Marcus structure and for one-time
use only, your choice Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Parking there is $10/day. On Saturday there is
some free street parking downtown, but check the signs and meters for exactly where. On
Sunday there is free street parking in most of downtown, though again, you should check signs
and meters for possible exceptions. There is NO PARKING your vehicles in the bagged meter
areas reserved for loading and unloading.
There is a surface parking lot close to the show at the corner of Knapp and Water (northwest
corner; note Knapp is named McKinley until this intersection when the name changes), where
there are ten hour meters, 8 am to 6 pm, Monday through Saturday. There is also a surface lot
in the southeast corner of the same intersection. Those of you with oversize vehicles (over 7’),
this is the best parking for you. If your vehicle takes up more than one space, you must pay for
as many spaces as the vehicle occupies. You may leave your vehicle/trailer overnight, but no
sleeping in vehicles. Note there are no attendants at either of these surface lots.
Please note: neither WDCC, nor Morning Glory, nor any of the parking facilities are responsible
for damaged or stolen items, nor for any tickets.
Additional general information will be sent soon, please keep watching your email. And visit our website
